Welcome to the Mizzou Soybean Research Club

The Research Club is an informal research discussion forum.  We meet every other week throughout the semester, and each lab has the opportunity for one presentation per semester.  In early meetings and for outside speakers, we welcome an overview of soybean research that happens or is being initiated in the lab.  For subsequent presentations, we learn the most from detailed, usually unfinished projects presented by the person doing the day to day work on the project.  We have broad interests represented in the group, from basic biology to applied breeding, so background information is essential.  The group is informal enough that we often interrupt the speaker to ask questions or to clarify a point.

Soybean Research Club will begin September 12, 2008 - Please join us!
